Planning:

The day trip starts with a drive through the High Atlas Mountains, passing through Berber villages nestled in the mountains. Then, travel off-road along the salted Ounila Valley, covering 4 kilometers of rocky terrain to reach the Kasbah d’Ait Ben Haddou, which is a natural backdrop for many famous films. Walk and cross the dry riverbed with your guide to get a bird's eye view of the kasbahs. After lunch at Ait Ben Haddou, head towards Ouarzazate to visit the Taourirt Kasbah, another of Pasha Laglaoui's Kasbahs, which was used as the American Embassy in Yemen for the movie "Rules of Engagement" and a few scenes from "Star Wars." Finally, visit the Cinema studios in Ouarzazate before returning to Marrakech via Tizi n'Tichka.
